***PLEASE NOTE: The biggest difference between the Backdrop Support Systems above,
is in the style of CROSSBAR each contains. There are 2 different styles of crossbar,
TELESCOPING and 4-PIECE CONNECTING. The differences are discussed below:
Telescoping – This is a single bar that telescopes in 3 sections. It allows you to set the
width at any point you decide (ex. The exact width of your curtains), up to 10’ wide. The
drawback to this style bar, as it is with anything telescoping, at the wider widths the bar
looses some of its rigidity & strength. With heavier weighted curtains or backgrounds, the
bar may sag or droop slightly.
4-Piece Connecting – This crossbar breaks down into 4 three foot sections with steel
connectors. This style bar does NOT become narrower as you extend it, therefore it does
not lose its strength or rigidity. It has a much stronger resistance to sagging or
drooping. The drawback to this style bar, is that it can only be set at certain widths (6’, 9’
or 12’).
Pick the style that fits your situation best. Any questions, please let us know & THANKS
for visiting “DUANE’S PLACE”, at www.OttMinistries.com .
